Why a free backlink checker can't crawl the whole web
Full backlink checkers like Ahrefs and Semrush work because they run their own web crawlers around the clock, building and maintaining an index of billions of pages and the links between them. That infrastructure is expensive to run, which is why real backlink data is a paid feature everywhere.
